History: Avanjion was born mortal many thousands of years ago, as legend states. He was born an Elf of Paragon eugenics; one of the 3 brothers of magic, Aerasume (god of Magic) and Sirius (god of Sorcery) are his siblings.  Legend claims that his father was an immortal dragon and his mother a Bedouin witch.  As he grew powerful the Myst took him to be one of her guardians of magic, alongside his brothers.  Avanjion often plays the mediator and peace keeper between his hot headed and volatile brothers.  While his portfolio is now just starting to be recognized, his clergy and faithful are flocking to the Elven City-State of Nathar-Ryn. A new age of Enlightenment is at hand.

Dogma: The young clergy of Avanjion are just beginning to pen the first parchments of His teachings. The council of Nath-ria (The council of signing) has been debating for years as to the actual teachings and dogma of Avanjion. And no true religious text yet has surfaced.

Some of the tenets established thus far are:

  1. All sentient beings are equal under the eyes of the Creator and will be treated justly.
  2. The goal of the self is self discovery and to enact deliberate action to promote conscious evolution in oneself and to guide others to the best of ones abilities.
  3. All beings have the right to a respectful existence so long as it does not deliberatively encroach upon another’s.
  4. Clergy and the faithful shall be independent and self sustaining relying on no other for help in ones daily life.
  5. Tithing and charity are essential for the growth of compassion.
  6. Strive to build family, community and bridges.
  7. Faithful shall take one year in mission or in hermitage.

Many of these tenets are already being taken beyond literal translation and are starting to have a direct influence in the realms.
