The Guardians are called “Freedom Fighters” by some and “Terrorists” by others. In heart they fight for the freedoms of all peoples. They oppose the tyrannical rule of oppressive governments by funding and training guerrilla groups of seasoned freedom fighters for strikes against their enemies. They also preach opposition to any regime that promotes slavery, and in the past have tried to encourage peasant uprisings. Very little is known about the actual activities of the Guardians, but they have remained stalwart in both their opposition and their efforts. Their operations are run through a cell structure with no cell having too much information about the whole of the operation or who the true leaders are. Each Cell is lead by a mid ranking member and 3-5 lower ranker members, chosen by the cell leader. Each cell is different, unique. Some cells are rouges and spies, others rangers and barbarians; each cell is given tasks and missions that are in line with its skills and talents. The Guardians need to be able to be at any given place at any given time in any given situation. Their versatility is one of their great strengths. A current cell leader was once a lower ranking member, and has been given authority to form his own cell to further the plans and operations of The Guardians. In this way members only have limited knowledge of who is in the organization, keeping the hierarchy safe from intrusion. Their tactics include destruction of key facilities, information gathering at exclusive events, even the occasional assassination.
