S. Robedee was born to a large extended family of performers in 1976. As a member of the Three Robedee Circus, she draws, paints, illustrates and talks to animals and insects – usually while wearing costumes. She has lived most of her life as a semi-privileged outcast.
Coco Pelo is her first regular comic – web or otherwise – and is one of many projects she and her husband Michael have collaborated on. Those inlcude a two minute horror short entitled “The Relic”, a short film created specifically for their wedding, a cable access horror show – in which she played the illustrious Sally Screamer, and even pin-up photography.
